Currently in development for the 360 and PS3 by Creative Assembly (Empire: Total War & Medieval II: Total War), with SEGA set to publish sometime in 2009, STORMRISE is shaping up to be a promising Real Time Strategy title with depth.
Although its not evident from this new trailer, I peered into the accompanying Press Release and found this:
Stormrise also allows units to be commanded in the air, across rooftops, on the earths surface and even undergroundthis unique idea of verticality introduces multiple layers of gameplay that must be mastered for strategic advantage. The experience is heightened by a simple yet effective control system tailored specifically for consoles, which allows easy unit selection, rapid navigation and precise deployment.
Verticality? It does sound intriguing, and who knows, it could be the new buzzword for future RTS titles to come. If they can find a careful balance between deep gameplay and easy to master console controls, this could be something to keep an eye on.

The Supreme Commander Forged Alliance Movie Series was created by me SPAZ (Erik Esparza) to show my appreciation to GPG aka Gas Powered Games for making an awesome RTS game. SupComFA is my favorite RTS game of all time next to the Total War franchise. All videos can be watch here or at my Website

Chapter 1 was created back in Jan 6 of 2008. The Story isn’t that good and niether is the quality of Chapter 1 at least. Even though Chapter 1 wasn’t good in my opinion since it was my first time making a SupCom video, over 11,000 people downloaded Chapter 1. To much of my suprize I didn’t want to dissapoint my viewers so I made it my goal to finish the series.
As I created Chapter 2 (Jan 21 2008) of the series I found out a way to reduce the lag in the videos by recording in fraps at the ingame speed of -8. Then using the recording -8 speed video, I increased the framerate to produce a more smooth video as if my in game was running smooth. Most people believe I have a SUPER UBER PC, but thats not the case.
Chapter 3 (April 12 2008) was my first ever video in HD 720p. I was so astonished that I didn’t want to go back to Standard Format and neither did the fans.
Chapter 4 (August 28 2008) was much of the same.
