Why does the Modern Warfare 2 Bundle Give you 2 controllers when its only a 1 player game?

I really want the Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console for christmas but as I was searching I noticed its only a 1 player game. I have 2 other siblings. This will not end well. But my question is this: Why are they selling 2 controllers in the bundle? Am I missing something? Can you play with more than one player online?

But, ITs a Multiplayer game offline. Theres a mode called SPec Ops, which is offline and online co-op. its like 5 hours long and its two players. and, theres also offline multiplayer, so u can play together offline. the game is multiplayer, up to 4, offline, just not online

thats why theres 2 controllers, that and because they want u to buy the package. ;)

    What about split screen special ops and offline multi? When I got this game I had to go get another controller because the specops is fun but it helps to have a helper.
