So basically, if i have a friend over, can we both play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2(on xbox live) if we have 2 controllers on the same xbox?
Unfortunately you can’t. However you can play local split-screen with another person. Games like Halo and Left 4 Dead are able to do online multiplayer on one screen because their engine is designed inferior to other multiplayer games (ie.Call of Duty). Then they use the Xbox 360 hardware to upscale their games four times on one screen. Infinity Ward’s In-house engine is too complex that it can’t perform a task and do it four times on one screen.

Negatory, CoD doesn’t allow guest players.
1 per xbox the doctor ordered.

Left 4 Dead can be played online with two people which is alot of fun cause you play as the zombies with special abilities…
