I want to pre order call of duty modern warfare 2 but I see that there is one called call of duty modern warfare 2 and one is call of duty modern warfare 2 hardened edition
Does anyone know whats the difference between them?
COD MW2 is just the regular game. Just the box with the game. Nothing else.
If you’re willing to pay extra, the COD MW2 Hardened Edition includes an artbook (weapons, charachters, level concepts etc.) and it’s got a fancier shiny steel game case as well as the actual game.
And, if you want to pay even more, the Prestige edition is the Hardened Edition plus working Nightvision goggles with a scultped head to put them on for display.
Umm hi. I dont get it when the trailer says eastern conference finals for modern warfare 2. I know it passed, but what is it? Is it a beta test?
ummm the eastern conference finals is an event of basketball…which was between cleveland cavaliers and orlando magic and the trailer was suppose to run during commercials that day
I know the first Modern Warfare game had little incentive, giving you a new icon by your name, and bragging rights. World at War, however, gave an additional custom class slot. Does Modern Warfare 2 give something special like this? I don’t want rumors or speculation, just a confirmed answer.
It does not give you an extra custom class slot. You already have 4 when you reach level 4. It gives you different emblems and callsign pictures, bragging rights. The down side is that it re-locks EVERYTHING. So weigh the pros and cons carefully.
I have a limited internet connection it is 5 gb and i want to know how much internet modern warfare 2 is eating every minute or something like that does anyone know?

When i started playing modern warfare 2 on the ps3 i used to let my child play it. So now my kill to death ratio is rubbish and my friends think they are better than me because of this reason. I am that far behind there is no way pulling this back. Is there a way of starting a fresh with keeping my same account?
you can’t start over from the beginning the only way to start over is to make a new PSN account and your K/D will be gone also everything you have still IMO K/D is not really important but I do have a K/D of 1.26 and growing lol but still I don’t really care about it I care about only winning
I just got modern warfare 2, and also have a server. I was wondering if it was possible (and how) to set up the web server so that it would host Modern Warfare 2 games.
I presume you mean on PC…
Therefore, it is my sad duty to inform you that Infinity Ward / Activision have decided that there is no need for Dedicated Server Support. They decided that since they are using Steam’s match making services to set-up P2P games, there is no need for Server Support, and this way no one ever needs worry about not having an even playing field…no more not being able to enter a server because it has a mod you don’t or play on a map you don’t have…why? Because you will gladly give your Credit Card to Steam to buy ALL the Map Packs and IW created mods!
Dream-on is my reply. The ability to have dedicated servers and fan created content was the best part of the CoD series! (In fact, the mod Eastern Front was actually better than the game it was modded from!)

Just need to know if its possible to have two people play online on the same xbox in call of duty modern warfare 2. I thought you could in Spec Ops, but I don’t see how. If you can, please explain how.
